GERMES:X-CROSS 2025 is behind us, and it was powerful.
The seventh edition of the GERMES:X-CROSS trail race took place on 2 November and, for the first time, was held in our home city of Bronnitsy.
For us, this is an important step: a small initiative for friends has grown into a full sports event that brings runners together from across the country.
Athletes gathered at the start from Moscow, the Moscow Region, Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Ulyanovsk, Khakassia, Mordovia, Stavropol Krai and many other regions.
Everyone chose their own distance, from the short XS, 5 km, to the marathon XL, 42 km.
Beginners tested themselves on their first trail kilometres, while experienced runners covered long loops along forest and field roads with natural climbs, turns and sections where character was essential.
We especially want to mention the children’s race. For us, it is always the brightest part of the day.
Young athletes ran 300-500 metres, received well-deserved medals and a huge amount of support from spectators.
Watching them finish with a smile is the best reminder of why we do all this.
The weather was kind to us that day: fresh air, a dry course and warm sunshine created ideal conditions.
The autumn colours around the city, the quiet forest and the energy of the participants made the atmosphere truly special.

Huge thanks to our organising team, volunteers and everyone who helped during preparation and on race day.
Each of you contributed: course marking, registration, food, photos, awards, technical support, logistics and simply the festive atmosphere.

Thank you to all partners and friends of the project who supported us this year and helped make the event more comfortable and brighter.
GERMES:X-CROSS is a team story, and every year it becomes stronger.
What participants found at the finish
Designer medals, hot food, drinks, photos and spectator support waited for everyone at the finish.
Electronic timing worked throughout the race, professional photographers were on the course, and the winners ceremony by distance became a celebration in itself.
The finish arch, music, smiles and applause created exactly the atmosphere that makes people want to return.

GERMES:X-CROSS is no longer just a race. It is a tradition that brings together people who love movement, nature and real communication.
We are grateful to everyone who was with us this year, and we are already thinking about what the next start will be like.
